SC-30 Card Swipe & Mobile Printer to provide for the Roadrunner client after the service request has been completed.
Woosim Systems Inc. and solution partners were able to seamlessly integrate Roadrunner data throughout all of the departments in the company with simple, custom hardware and software solutions. In the process, the department that processed the 100,000 sheets of paper a month after the transportation services were completed was now eliminated by giving the drivers the tool of a Woosim 5000 Pocket PC and a custom business application that allowed the driver to process his own trip information in real time! All of the manual tasks of processing over 100,000 sheets of paper were to be completely automated. Roadrunner clients could now get the real time status and confirmation of the transportation they ordered.
Woosim Systems Inc. and their solutions partners created a custom online and desktop Reservation data entry application that properly entered the service requests from clients into the Roadrunner database. The service requests are then sent to an custom automated Scheduling and Routing Optimization application that optimizes the routes in order for Roadrunner to provide the most cost effective and efficient service for their clients.
The optimized scheduled data is then sent to an custom Dispatch application that monitors the service requests in REAL TIME! The dispatch application provides Real time service updates and alerts for the dispatchers monitoring the drivers in the field. The dispatch application sends the real time service requests and critical updated customer information to and from the drivers in the field using a custom mobile application on the drivers wireless Woosim 5000 Pocket PC. The dispatch application also uses the GPS information from the Bluetooth GPS device which is hard mounted and wired to the battery for power in the vehicle, communicating through the wireless Bluetooth enabled Woosim 5000 Pocket PC, to track the real time progress and review the history of the routes driven by the driver.
After the service request has been completed, the driver updates his custom mobile application on his Woosim 5000 Pocket PC and the information automatically gets processed in the Roadrunner database. By using the Woosim 5000 Pocket PC, the driver is also able to accept all Credit and Debit Cards from clients and process them in real time while the client is waiting to sign for the charge and completion of the service on the signature capture of the Woosim 5000 Pocket PC. The client hands the driver his credit card which the driver swipes using the card swipe on the Woosim SC-30 Mobile card swipe and printer combination. The client signs the signature capture on the custom mobile application on the Woosim 5000 Pocket PC and the driver prints a receipt with the signature on it using the Woosim SC-30 printer.
